A simply beautiful chrysoprase and diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 14k white gold, this fabulous piece features a wonderfully ornate centerpiece! The centerpiece features a rectangular-shaped piece of chrysoprase. The chrysoprase displays a lovely rich green hue, and is held within a bezel setting. The center of the chrysoprase features a single cut diamond, which has an approximate total carat weight of .05ct. The diamond is held in place by bead-settings, but is bordered by an additional milgrained box frame. The four corners of the chrysoprase feature intricate filigree floral-motifs, and the gallery and shoulders of the ring are adorned with additional engravings and filigree detailing. The inside of the shank is marked with a "14K" purity mark. A fabulous piece, this ring would be perfect for any Art Deco-era jewelry lover!
Measurements:The ring is a size 6.5, but could easily be resized. The centerpiece measures 5/8" tall and 1/2" wide. The tapered band measures 1.58mm.
Condition:The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold mounting, and there is no apparent damage to the chrysoprase plaque. All of the diamonds are secure and intact.
