A unique mourning ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this ring features a rectangular-shaped centerpiece, which features a thin black enamel border. The centerpiece features a lock of blonde hair, which is woven into an intricate braid. The hair is protected by a glass panel, which is secured within a gold frame. The shoulders of the ring feature a fan motif, and small two-dimensional gold balls. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped with a "14k" purity mark. A sentimental and simple piece, this mourning ring would make a wonderful addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!

Measurements:The ring has a finger size of 7. The rectangular centerpiece measures 3/8" wide and 5/8" tall. The band measures 2.2mm thick.

Condition:The ring is in excellentantique condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The hair within the locket is secure and intact, and the glass panel art the front of the centerpiece is secure and intact.
